About Devyani Patel, DPT

Dr. Devyani Patel PT, DPT received her Bachelor’s of Physical Therapy from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in 2009. She also received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UTICA college in 2015. Dr. Patel has been working at Peak Medical since 2014, which she considers an amazing experience where she has learned the different dynamics of a multidisciplinary office setting.

What I Do Here

Dr. Patel creates individualized treatment plans for her patients. She is certified in shoulder mobilization, Kinesio taping, functional mobilization, ergonomic evaluations and assessment as well as peripheral neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and neurodevelopmental techniques (NDT). Her experience includes traumatic brain injuries (TBI), spinal injuries, orthopedic treatments and major cardiac postoperative rehabilitation. As a physical therapist, Dr. Patel finds it very rewarding to be able to help patients in a non-invasive way to reach their goals. She is also fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.

What I Enjoy

Dr. Patel is married and has one beautiful daughter. She enjoys free time with her family, cooking and exploring nature. She is very blessed to have a supportive husband who always motivates her to progress towards her goals.
