Neuropathy Treatment

Often caused by diabetes or chemotherapy and also linked to autoimmune diseases, neuropathy cannot be corrected. But with proper treatment from the expert caregivers here at Peak medical, it can be managed and controlled so that disruption to your day-to-day life and long-term goals is as minimal as it can possibly be.

When people suffer from neuropathy (nerve damage), symptoms can manifest in a variety of disruptive and uncomfortable ways. Mainly in, but not limited to, the hands and feet, symptoms may include:

  • Abnormal pulse, blood pressure, and/or sweating
  • Compromised balance/coordination
  • Disrupted sleep
  • Muscle cramps and/or weakness
  • Numbness or tingling
  • Sensitivity to touch/feeling of wearing a glove or a sock
  • Sharp, shooting pain and/or burning sensation

At Peak, we will thoroughly evaluate your symptoms and discomfort by first talking to and learning from you. Then, we will custom create a drugfree, holistic regimen that may involve Neurolumen® (a system that features light-emitting diode [LED], laser, and electrostimulation to regenerate nerve tissue), and/or deep tissue laser therapy, acupuncture, physical therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care.
