Who I Am
Lilibeth Gaerlan received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from Silliman University in the Philippines in 1998. Beth made the big move to New York in 2000 and has been working as a full-time licensed Physical Therapist since 2001. She joined the team in 2007 when she moved to New Jersey and started a family.
What I Do Here
Her work experience of over 15 years has primarily been in an outpatient private practice setting, but she also has experience doing clinical internships at orthopedic and medical centers in the Philippines. Beth is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and has taken a myriad of postgraduate courses in Manual Therapy, Dynamic Stretching, Balance Training, Kinesiotaping and Therapeutic Pilates for rehab professionals. She also is fluent in Tagalog and Cebuano.
What I Enjoy
Beth is very compassionate about treating patients with neck and back disc injuries, especially after having been through these injuries herself and knowing how challenging it is to continue leading an active lifestyle keeping up with her three boys. She considers the field of Physical Therapy an enjoyable and fulfilling challenge and regards the opportunity to provide the physically injured a better quality of life the greatest perk of her career.
