Who I Am
Dr. Anika Paul recently moved to NJ after being a long time Long Island, NY resident. She graduated from Queens College where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Biology with honors. Throughout her college career, she maintained a 4.0 GPA in all science classes, which granted her a special recognition award by the college Biology department. For five years in college, Dr. Paul worked as a Physical Therapist Aid and completed her DPT at NYIT. She has a variety of experience through clinical internships namely, pediatrics, geriatrics, acute/sub-acute care and sports orthopedic.
What I Do Here
Dr. Paul currently is in charge of reviewing physicians referrals and patient’s medical records to help determine diagnosis and decide the physical treatment required. She is also responsible for screening, examining and evaluating patients, including their history, application of appropriate tests, measures and interpretation of exam findings to establish a diagnosis. Dr. Paul often collaborates with patients to set goals and implement physical therapy treatments. After seeing every patient, she completes all related documentation and record keeping of the services provided.
What I Enjoy
In her free time, Dr. Paul prioritizes spending time with her husband. She enjoys traveling, dancing and cooking.
